Thanks! Hee hee...I'm not so sure I'll be the talk of the town though. A lot of people on the roads here do not appreciate cyclists or their lovely machines in the slightest. I, however, will feel GREAT doing my part to cut pollution. I'll save $ and get stress-relief/exercise all at the same time. Ya just can't beat that!

What's neat is that I went wanting to look at the new (2009) 7.6 because I thought the white was prettier. (me and my silly color habits - that's how I got my current road bike...I fell in love with the baby blue color - LOL!) This bike is the 2008 7.5.. not a WHOLE lot different..just less some more expensive components and carbon pieces.. Not necessary really. The 7.5 has my beloved baby blue in accent colors! That clinched it. After I thought about it more, the black will not show chain slap like on my other bikes either. ALSO...best part... I am getting a discount since it's last year's model! Win win win!

P.S. Talk about irony....Tuesday, I'll bring my FX home in my FX. I can pretty much tell ya that'll be the only time it'll ride in there. Can't wait to ride this bike! eeeeeee

I buy my bikes based on color. My hardtail was a candy red.

Color is very important to me. I have to say the thing that tipped me to the Cannondale road bike I have over the Specialized Ruby was the frame looks. And I couldn't bring myself to buy the Trek FX in my commuter budget because it was burnt orange. No Aggie will ride anything that color with pride.

Heh Heh... you sure don't have to explain the offensiveness of ORANGE (burnt or sissy) to a SOONER! RAH!!

Just curious -- Do you have the Cannondale Road Warrior Feminine 4? That one was on my short list...very pretty!
