    I can't use the mirrors attached to a helmet either. All I can see is my glasses, my shoulder, and NEVER the traffic behind me.

    I use the big honker mirror that screws into the end of your handlebar. It works just GREAT for me.

    I recently tried out a very small, lightweight mirror that attaches with velcro to the end of the handlebars (mtn./hybrid type bars). It worked really well and did not interfere with my grips. My hubby is using my mirror from my previous mountain bike that attaches onto the end also - he loves the bigger mirror. Tomorrow I will try out the new one that attaches to my eyeglasses - takes some getting used to. The ones that attach to the bar ends sound like the ticket for you.
