You beat me to it! I just got the same reply from them today too.

I posted this over in the PNW Novice thread but didn't want it to get lost there. I emailed Danskin telling them there were several reports of bike computers registering 10.4 or 10.5 miles, and could they confirm or rule out? I received this reply today. They have refigured the mph accordingly, although the change is very small.
We are in receipt of your inquiry regarding the length of the 2008 BIKE COURSE for the Seattle / Danskin TRI. Our Local Race Director through her Bike Course Coordinator and Set up crew has confirmed with us that the course set was 11.8 miles in distance. Based on this information – RACE results will be updated. Thanks for your support. We look forward to seeing you in 2009

So my bike computer is still 1.4 miles off... even though it wasn't for Ironman, when I wish it was off so I can pretend I didn't really bike 120 miles?![]()
I am still a bit skeptical, since there were several reports of 10.4-10.5. But it's their final answer, anyway. At some point, it doesn't really matter...
