Ugh, I saw a pink/black Diva on the Tour de Cure and I totally swooned when the gal walked by with it. The owner sneered at me like I wasn't worthy of looking at her bike.

Okay, sorry to jack your thread but you got my heart rate up with that gorgeous thing.
My heart also skipped a beat when I saw this pink beauty. It is limited edition and made for Alberto Contador...so the price tag will probably warrant a heart attack.

I also took a look at the pink/black Diva...gorgeous. Too much bike for me though.

I don't get people who give you looks when you stare at their bikes...come on now, let's share the love!

you can stare at my bike any time you want. I can't imagine who anyone would ride an eye catching bike and then not like it when people gaze at it!

    good luck on your quest.

I'm jumping in because I just bought a trek with a similar theme. I didn't like the white handlebars and planned on putting my black seat on it. However, after talking it over my husband--he thought the white handlebar tape looked sharp and if I changed the seat it wouldn't match. The lbs owner said that was the new colors for next year. He fitted me with the white seat on it--so I am going to go with it for awhile. Function will win over fashion in the long run, however. I've only rode it once, but my sister and brother-in-law said, "WOW!" It's growing on me!

Oh, and when did men become fashion divas?! My t-shirt-and-jean-wearing husband just built a new bike. It's black carbon fiber with red and gray stripes. He spent days searching for wheels that would match (he found them and they are perfect!) We went on a two day ride and he refused to put a water bottle holder on his bike until he could find a black carbon fiber one with red accents (he found one!) Seriously? The lbs owner was complaining that the new Trek models are coming in with silver stems and they only have black stems in stock. He said, "we would have had a real problem if I needed to change your stem, because I don't have one that would match." WOW. Seriously?

I KNOW!! BF is the same! Everything has to match. But oh well, all the better for me, because he doesn't put any limitations on whatever I would need to make my bike look smoking.

If only he could understand my need for certain purses and shoes...sigh

Beautiful bike, and great deal! I was told 'shades' of pink are the new thing as well. Have fun accessorizing!

My saddle is a Terry Damselfly, by the way. They make it in both black and white as well.

It's occurred to me that some men are probably better dressed while riding than at any other time, with all the color-coordinated kits and accessories.

Yeah, OK, the same could probably be said about me, too.
