where are you commuting down from? I won't apply to UofChi simply because of location. I was hoping to stay in evanston .

The location is fine - I think people get worked up about it until they actually go to the school and realize that its a perfectly safe neighborhood.

Not to mention the school is absolutely phenomenal. I spent four years at Northwestern as an undergrad - as well as working at Kellogg for three - and I truly feel Chicago is markedly stronger on several dimensions.
