I took my chocolate bike to work with me, and stopped off on the way home at Al Foster trail. I rode al foster to stinging nettle trail. I love stinging nettle. So far I've accidently taken a few of the connector trails, but today was the first time I rode the whole trail without accidently getting on one of the connectors. I rode up a steep part that I didn't think I could make it up, and rode through a couple of the sand pits I'd had to walk through the last time. I did walk through one long sand pit, and walked up a steep rooty trail because I lost momentum stopping to look at trail signs. It's a great trail- challenging for me but not so much that I have to walk a lot of stuff. I went through some water, over a log, and didn't even slow down for some of the dips. I had a blast, I think I'll do it again tomorrow. This time I will take some of the connectors that I haven't been on yet. It was a total of 9.4 miles. We aren't supposed to get any rain this week, so it should be in great shape.
