this sounds interesting. I helped lay trail in Minnesota. It would be fun to do it again! When is he planning on doing this?

Hello,
The park ranger at Shenandoah River State Park in Bentonville, VA, is currently working on building new trails for mountain bikes. He is looking for people to help with the trail construction. He'll be doing the heavy work with machines but will need volunteers to do finishing work. The neat thing is that he is a mountain biker himself! If you are interested in volunteering or just learning more about this project, you can contact Doug Vinson, the park ranger, at 540.636.4630 or you can PM me and I can provide more details.
Thanks,
Susan

Great to hear you're interested in helping out. Sounds like the trails will be ready for manual work in October/November.
