    Wow- too cool! Even if I couldn't go, it would be great to say you qualified. Even better when you explain that due to your strong committment to your job, you have to pass up the opportunity. Career before passion and all.

    In case I didn't make it perfectly clear, it was NOT hard to qualify in the sprint. There are only 13 women in my division and the older you get, the fewer there are.

    I was 4th out of 11 in my age group in the race, but for this, they advance your age one year and that moves some people into different age groups for next year. My qualifying time was 7th out of 13.

    I believe if you finished in the sprint tri, you have a chance to go to World's because they have a roll down so you can probably go even if you didn't come in the top ten. I would guess a lot of people don't go because it's too expensive.

    Anyway, I'm going to enjoy it while it lasts.
