Late to the party, but I have used those Hincapies with the red pad on at least 1 maybe 2 of my double centuries last year. I may even have used them on the 400k. I really like them.
I also have a couple of pairs of the shebeest ultra Ds and like them as well.
I just got a pair of the Sugoi RS Flex shorts and they seem good, really well made, but I haven't ridden with them longer than 50 miles yet. Just rode with a pair of Capos in my last century and they're good, but honestly one century isn't enough in my mind to judge.Sarah
