SC - that would be waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much stress for me! I was a passenger. And I loved it!!

The car is a Mercedes SLR made by F1 car maker, McLaren.

The owner is a shareholder in the company I work for. He was in town to work with my boss, and I got to ride in and take pictures of his fabulous car.

Sorry it's not more exciting than that....in person, it was very very exciting!

Am I happy in my new job? You betcha!

    Hugs and butterflies,

    Ooohhhhhawwwww....I am drooling.
I love cars...fast cars, classic cars, practical cars...you name it.

That must of been a blast! Do you watch Top Gear on BBC. Highly recommend it even for those who aren't that into cars. Very entertaining.

I used to work in Television and our automotive reporter would get a new car every two weeks. He used to walk up to my desk dangling keys infront of my face offering up a test drive. In those seven years I was able to drive some amazing cars before they hit the mainstream roads.

As a surprise for my birthday one year my husband got me four days at Bob Bondurant's School of Performance Driving in Pheonix. It was amazing. We got to race in Mustang Cobra SVT and then at the end of the week we raced open wheel Formula Fords. It was so much fun...I was 27 and the rest of the class was men over 50. Came in second in our end of class race - Loved it!

Glad you got to experience a car like that...that is a rare one!

I love nice cars (and fast ones). That's a beauty; I've never seen one before. I love those doors.

    Thanks for the photos!

Yes, it's a very nice perk. Not sure when/if I'll have that chance again, so I'm happy I got the ride when I did!

Today wasn't nearly as exciting. heehee

I did not drive it, nor would I want to....I'd be too worried about wrecking it!! And, yes, it's around a 1/2 million to buy.... My boss knows some very interesting people!!

This is YouTube of the actual car I was in....

Of course, not while I was in it! Too bad. I really don't have proof. Although the 6 or so city workers who were painting lines that day would remember the car....it's hard to say if they'd remember the blonde too.

Ah, so jealous!! I'd be scared to drive it too. But a ride would be awesome!

I love Top Gear too, funny show! My kids have started talking like the guys and referring to prices in pounds and such. Oh and the Stig, he's always driving the hot wheels cars now!
