You know, act of cycling advocacy doesn't produce photo ops...unless you count regular critical mass rides. (he's only participated in one out of...many that have been in Vancouver and Toronto).

I haven't even kept previous articles, etc. The clearest evidence of his work for me, ...along with other hardworking people in his group..is the end result...certain bike lanes, paths, etc. that finally get implemented. I know some of the bike routes in town that he has helped come to fruition..

but clueless...I am...he doesn't tell me until..AFTER it's been implemented.

Or maybe I'm not always listening to what he tells me.

Maybe living in a household, where after awhile, topics of cycling, taking out the garbage, paying the bills, etc. ....gets all merged together...as muzak.

I am such an attentive partner/woman.

And yea, Grog I think most people who knew Richard would be guffawing their heads off to see Richard in a tuxedo with an adoring woman fan wrapped around his ankle. He is just total opposite of that type of guy.
