Well, today was the day I took my newbie tri buddy OWS. She did great. I used all of the advice that you guys gave me and it went really well. One or two moments of wetsuit panic, but we worked through it.
She brought her kids and a mommy's helper and we had a great day. I feel really lucky to have a friend that shares my passion and that "gets" the whole racing thing. After we swam we sat and talked for 2 hours. A good day all the way around. Next time we are bringing our bikes.
She is borrowing one of my wetsuits and she even had a pretty good first wetsuit wiggle!
