Bike candy! You'll have to look for matching tires too!

I have to ask. There have been many discussions about how much women hate the stock Bontrager saddles. How is yours?

No problems so far...it's less padded than my last saddle. I did slide it back a bit last night. Today, I did 50 miles without any problems, but I was starting to wonder if I could go 100 miles on it...

    LOL!

I noticed the ring on Mr. Silver's right hand--is that one of Silver's creations?

Mr. Silver, what a great new bike. Thanks for the pic of you and your bike. A bike looks lonely without a rider nearby.

Nope, Silver only works with silver (which means that technically, she's a "goldsmith" because a "silversmith" makes hollowware

    Inaugural ride:

    Smokin'!

I bested my personal best on the Tri-Course by 6.25% on my first ride. Last year, my PB was 19.1 mph with drafting; a couple months ago, I bested this at 19.2mph and today I did 20.5mph in windier, hotter, more humid conditions!

I was disappointed with the DuraAce shifters, but a trip to the LBS fixed that and they started to take on "slicing butter" attributes.

The left DuraAce pedal wouldn't lock, so I rode with one DuraAce and one 105...again, a trip to the LBS fixed that.

The guys at the LBS were ecstatic to hear about my speed improvement!

I do have a little discomfort in the minor rhomboids...I'm hoping that's just a matter of getting used to the new geometry...
