    SHHHH! Do you hear that?!?

Listen... It's my bike. I'm sure of it. I hear her calling me from her spot in the office storage room. She's a bad influence! She's telling me to leave work now. It's beautiful out, and she wants to go play! I'm trying not to listen to her, but I think her charm is winning me over. Any one else hear their bikes calling today?

    my mtb

It's been lonely sitting in the garage. Finally took her out for a short spin early this morning.

Oh yeah...all 8 of our bikes are screaming in unison from our garage. They are ALL pissed off at both my H and I for neglecting every last one of them these past few weeks! The roar is almost deafening.

It's raining here, so my bike is very happy in her storage room. It's supposed to be nice later though, so I'm sure I'll hear some crying then.

My bikes agree - it's too hot to ride!! They're frustrated too, but they don't want to go out in it any more than I do....

Yup! It's not raining here at the moment so "Bernard" is calling me. I am sure that when I get off work it will be raining and he will be hiding.

My commuter bike cried a little when I announced that I'm staying at home to work this morning, but rejoiced instantly when I followed up with sharing my intention to go on a longer ride in the afternoon with her, because she's got the fenders on and it's pouring rain.

Now the road bike is crying. *sigh*

    Sorta.

4 are mine (one is currently for sale) and 4 belong to H. Once I sell mine, I'll be down to a commuter/touring bike, a road bike and a mountain bike. H has the same plus one extra 'franken bike' that he built up himself. It's not as extravagant as it sounds!

Good for you! And your bike!

Mine was calling this morning, and since I wasn't working, I was able to get in a good 1.5 hour ride! I love riding early before the heat creeps in! Just did my usual around town ride and I'm actually thinking about going out again later on after it cools off again. I'm officially addicted.

    Calling very loud

I took a vacation day today. My exciting agenda was to pick up supplies to reinforce and add to the fence. Boyfriend really wanted a German Shorthaird Pointer, so he got one. The dog is very goofy and loving, but he thinks he can fly. Kinda like Dumbo, it's all in the large ears.

So I am ignoring the bike on this beautiful fall-type day. I did prove that one can fit 8' lumber into a PT cruiser.

Fall-type day? Sigh!!!! It's supposed to be 96 here with heat index of 103 - humidity 65%. If I don't ride early, I don't ride.
