Somebody sign this woman to a team! Send her to the Olympics. Giving chase to a guy, while hauling a kid while staying in an aerobic zone low enough to talk in full sentences to the police.

"Dude, you're under arrest and you've been "chicked" or whatever they call it when a gal passes you. You have the right to give up cycling, if you cannot afford to ride better a cycling probation officer will be provided for you ..."

And Dude, it's like mother bears, you know how you don't get between a mom bear and her cub? You not only don't assault riders, women or anyone for that matter but if you mess with a Mom with a kid. There's no telling what will happen to you. He's lucky he's just arrested not worse.

Yuck. What a creep! And impressive that she was able to chase him like that, although really it probably wasn't the smartest thing to do (however, can't say I wouldn't be tempted to do it if something like this happened to me--maybe not with a kid though).

Bueno said she wasn’t afraid of the man who grabbed her, and that the experience of running him down was “empowering.”

Bueno, a Gunbarrel resident, said she noticed a man wearing a helmet, dark sunglasses and khaki shorts pass her without so much as a second glance
Wow, criminal wears helmet. When do you hear that??

The dude is more than a loser. But SHE is awesome.

I found the story very empowering. I'm so glad they nabbed the freak. Of course, fighting back is not always the best policy, but this time it worked!

True, it's not a looks thing, but I enjoy being self deprecating and it consoles me because it's a pretty area to ride in.

What bugs me is all the people in the comments going off about how she endangered her child. Um, yeah not really. She kept off him, and the biggest danger obviously was over.

I say good for her, she kicked butt so that girls like myself maybe won't have to deal with jerks like this.
