Ho-hum. Blew off the club ride tonight because the weather looked iffy. Soon as I got back from my run it cleared up - but we went to a comedy club instead and the show was really funny!

5.1 miles, free run. Still slow, but I'm still having trouble adapting to the heat. At least the ozone wasn't up today - considering the humidity I was breathing fine.

My shoes are looking really worn, but according to my log I've only got 180 miles on them trying to figure if I might have missed some miles somewhere???

Intervals today. DH had some errands to run in town so I took the opportunity to go in with him and run on the trail. I was thinking about doing a little solo ride, but I just wasn't motivated.

7 x 1 minute sprints with 1 minute walking recovery. Once again it had been so long since I'd done the program, it was different from what I thought it was I was expecting 90 second recoveries! But it was fine, by the end of the 1 minute my HR came down into Zone 1 every time - even with the heat and humidity.

3.8 miles total, with warmup and recovery jog.

    Plugging along

I finally have time to post something. I was gone on vacation last week to Sun Valley. I did get a long run 11 miler in on the green belt which was very nice, but I had been sick the week before and the push put me over the edge and set me back. I came home Sunday sicker so needless to say this week has been "recovery". Sinus infection with the cough and crud.

I finally went out this AM for a very slow 5 miler but I got out!! My 1/2 is in 4 weeks so if I had to get sick better to get over with now.

Long run tomorrow morning....I hope I can do it

Brick - 40K bike with 3 good hills, 5.5K run @ race pace, 2:44 (it's slow getting out of the city and back) dunno how this will benefit me, but it hurts in a good way.
It's a little secret you didn't know about us women. We're all closet Visigoths.
