    Want to know everything

I am new to cycling, and I love it. I just bought a BMC Streetfire, and I want to know and learn everything there is to know about my bike and bikes in general. Any suggestions on a good book to read or where I can go to learn everything.

    Thumbs up

"The Art of Urban Cycling" (Book by Robert Hurst) gives a nice history on the development of bikes and autos and has plenty of tips for surviving in the urban setting.

Ed Pavelka's books on long-distance cycling and cycling for health and fitness. Great stuff.

    Good tips here...
Also, the Complete Bike Book by Chris Sidwells is a nice reference for just starting out.
The Art of Urban Cycling is in a new edition called more simply, "The Art of Cycling". It's excellent.

Congrats on the Streetfire. I LOVE that bike and am in the process of trying to convince my brother-in-law to buy one.

    Welcome to the madness!
