You neeeeeeeeeed another bike. After all, you held a garage sale and you have, once again, room for another bike.

Components? Well, let's see. I transferred over my Dura-Ace brakes, shifters, cassette, and derailleurs from my Felt. Also my Speedplay Zeros, Jett saddle and my wheels (built by John Ackley at Paradigm, with Velocity Aerohead rims, Sapim X-ray spokes, and White Industries hubs.) That's a new crank. A Fulcrum Racing Torq RS Compact. The stem and handlebars are FSA. I love the new shallow bars. It is so much easier to reach my brakes and shifters from the drops. A Ritchey carbon seatpost and, oh yes, a lovely Chris King headset. (Sharp eyes there, Sundial!)

And, yes, she just makes me want to ride ALL THE TIME!

Lifesgreat: What do you mean about Tour de Donut news? Oh, do you mean this old thing?

You got a trophy for the Tour de Donut? Come on, out with the story.............

Another bike will help you deal with the pressures of grad school. And after all, you earned it!

holy crap. looking and that and then looking at my nice cannondale reminds me of when i was in monaco...you see so many ferrarris and lambourghinis there that after awhile the BMWs start looking like clunkly little ford escorts.

    very nice. jealous.

Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet bike! Sending best wishes for many, many fun miles!

(an idiot driver injured me and destroyed my dream bike, which was a Seven Elium too; am planning on ordering my replacement one ASAP...not cleared to ride yet, so it's a tiny bit easier to be patient )

however, I am stopping at Seven Cycles to say 'hi' to the folks who built my last one and will do the same for my next...before the AIDS ride across NY starts...am flying into/out of Boston, just for that purpose!
