How was the ride for the ladies?
is there an online version? Was that the Bay in a day double he did? i saw some BIAD riders when I was driving to Berkeley Sat. morning.....

The Bay Trail ride was very nice. Ann, Ellen, and Ellen's friend (Darn! I can't remember her name??) joined us. It was quite fun chatting it up with everyone. I think they were quite gracious to slow down for me on my 7 speeder. Arrgh! I need another road bike and soon! I won't be doing any hills on that beast.........
    Cheers!

    Re BIAD

I found this article on the Bay in a Day double. I helped at the first rest stop in Pinole manned by the Quackcyclists, but wasn't paying enough attention and didn't notice the Benicia club jersey if Arctic Bill stopped. Strangely the course didn't follow the Bay Trail, which would have made for a slow (but pleasant) ride.

    Fun Ride!

Thanks everyone for scheduling such a fine ride. Megan (my friend) enjoyed it very much and it was nice riding near the water given the temperatures that developed yesterday!!!

Cindy, I hope that insurance money comes through quickly, although you did great on your alternative wheels....

    Take care,
    Ellen

I had a good time too!

That was a nice ride, good company, and great to be out of the worst of the heat! My cyclometer showed 27 miles by the time I got back to Rockridge Bart - I guess I didn't take the most direct route after we all split off!

Thanks for organizing the ride, Cindy - what a trooper you were on your cruiser! Keep us all posted on your progress getting youself some new wheels!
