I'm an overpronator. The Asics were high control *and* I was using custom orthotics in them. In the new version we felt I was being overcorrected. The NB are moderate control; the combination with the orthotics seems just right.

I'd rather be swimming...biking...running...and eating cheesecake...

I'm making my way back into the world of runners - first 10K since January 1st.... minor complaints somewhere around my shins but nothing definite.
I have the address of a massage therapist that was highly recommended....

Well, post vacation I'm looking at a few more pounds and a need to up my mileage (again??!!??). Body fat is up 4% since March. Ugh. Need to get motivated...
I ran every other day on vacation so I wouldn't totally lose it. My post-vacation runs have been tough...I'm hoping next week to get back on some sort of a "schedule" so I can at least make the Pocatello half with Shiraz at the end of August. I feel all out of sorts. I just ordered some new shoes and am hoping that will motivate me to get up into the mountains. This time last year I was up there a couple times a week. I'm really missing running through the aspens. The trails down "low" are nice, but not magical like running on the Wasatch crest.
I think I need an ultra guru to guide me if I ever want to get back up to 50k.
Hope everyone has a good week!!!
