my blue period

I actually put off looking at this thread because I was having a grumpy day and was pretty sure that I couldn't contribute anything positive to say about someone else's "blue period".

One of my favorite prints is Albrecht Durer's Meloncolia. Durer always had a sense of humor, even during his period of feeling the blues. The expression on the angel is priceless. I can attest many a times I've sat in my studio bumfuzzled and frustrated over a painting that fizzled out.
