    New TT Bike!

    At the request of Rij73...

Just built this up (myself ) last week. It's a Blue T16 w/some SRAM stuff:

    Notes:
    - Yes, I am aware that the saddle position is not UCI legal in the photos I posted (It's been fixed w/another saddle & some strategic measuring!)
-Those are just training wheels- I have some Zipps for racing (though those American Classics are starting to grow on me)
    - Rij73, there's no reason that you can't get SRAM Red! High-quality parts are always justifiable!!
-Rode it in a 40K on Saturday, and the bike performed perfectly, though operator error may have accounted for not finishing better than 4th place

Very cool! How do you get the diamonds in the tape? Is it something I can do on my drop bars?

Did you hear Meg & I yell for you? By name? You were rather occupied at the time.

I heard you!!! I had no idea who it was, though, and I didn't have a chance to look!

Oh yeah, and the UCI regulations state that the nose of the saddle must be 5cm or more behind the bottom bracket. However, you can have it up as far as the BB if your knee is not ahead of the pedal spindle when you sit on your bike (which is referred to a "morphological exception"). In the photo, the nose is actually in front of the BB, which is only legal at non-UCI races and at any triathlon.

My operator error was not training properly before a 40k TT!

SWEET bike! Will you explain why and how that saddle placement isn't legal? Just for my continued education...

Sweet rig! Looks like it should be fast for sure. I'll be out *cough* attempting *cough* to set a PR at our local course on Weds *cough*...

What was the "operator error" btw? Just interested since I've had a few of those myself.
