I get bored after 40 miles by myself. I think I'd be tearing my hair out on a ride like that. I'm not sure if congrats or sympathy are due your way.
I really enjoy going on solo metrics and solo imperial centuries. I can go at my own pace, stop whenever and wherever I please, and generally be alone with my thoughts (or, lack thereof )

So far this year I've done three solo metrics and two solo imperials. And Veronica has done at least two solo double metrics!

But all I did on Sunday was a measly 29.18 miles, from my home out to Sunol and back. But I did the outbound half in 53:03, a new personal best.

Hi everyone! I'm a newbie here, but your posts are really inspiring me! Just wanted to add in my Sunday ride. Rode the Silver Comet Trail from Rockmart, Georgia to Cedartown, GA, 32 mile round trip. Took a little less than 2 hours. I was riding with a group of folks I had just met. It was a great ride, with a detour of about 6 miles that was chock full of hills! (which slowed down our time a bit) The silly cyclometer I bought wasn't working, so I don't have detailed mph and mileage, which sux. But, it was a beautiful day - cloudy and in the 80s when we started out, 90 when we ended.
