I rode again this morning with my two friends. It wasn't as warm as it has been this past week but the humidity was very high. We had a few clouds for shade and overall it was one fine morning for a ride.

We rode for 2 hours and 27 minutes and covered 44.20 miles with only 1810 feet of climbing. This small amount of climbing allowed us to cruise along at a pretty good clip and for most of the ride the average speed was over 18 mph. We chose to have a nice cool down for the last mile or so which made our official average speed drop to 17.9 mph. A good effort was made by all and no one went home too tired from pulling the others.

We saw one small turtle at the edge of the road and near his home. We saw one very dead snake and we were chased by one fast and very determined dog...glad to say that we won and he didn't!
