I did
Fri – run 7K to work in the morning
Sat – swim 2K in the morning, bike 45K hilly in the afternoon
Sun –run 7K (felt bad, must have been the biking)
Mon – swim 2K
Tue – run 7 K (felt better than ever)
Wed – swim 2K open water
Thu – bike 40K hilly
Fri – run 7k to work (bit hard after the hard biking)

In the past months I would be sooo tired after 3-4 days of training. Mostly, long rides on weekends would wear me out.
I can do 120 k+ no prob but I need a lot of recovery after that. In particular, I couldn’t bring myself to go to Monday night swim practice with the club, where we do over 3K every time.
Not enough base? or is the looming race just motivation enough to make me go out & train?
Interesting! I'm going on 10 days without a rest day too (14/15 days of training). I chalk it up to fitness level AND not working. I get adequate rest and some of my days as easy days because all I did was swim. (That's easy for me because I can't swim fast lol). I wish I could run more but still having shin issues and seeing PT regularly for acupuncture...)

16 - bike 34k
17 - swim 1k
18 - bike 16k, run 3k brick
19 - swim 1.5k, bike 30k easy
20 - swim 1k, bike 55k
21 - run 9k
22 - bike 12k hill repeats
23 - swim 1k
