I'm glad you had a great race. When you get in that zone (which is rare for me), you just gotta go with it and keep it steady. I'm sure Jonny understood. DH and I have an understanding that no matter how either one is feeling- in a race you do your own thing. He wasn't mad, was he?
Congrats on a great race. I'll definitely pencil that in on the calendar for next year!
BTW- are the reflecting bags in the picture the ones you got at packet pickup? Niiiiiiiccccceeeee!!!!

HA! Oh, he wasn't upset. In fact, we didn't even talk about it until late Sunday. He said, "You were not a very good sherpa out there"... to which I replied, "I was a great sherpa AFTER you finished the race. But I can't sherpa when I'm racing". HA!
Yea, it's a great race. Fun. Small. Register early. I think it caps at 400.
I too wish I could run at night. But in my 'hood that is NOT a wise decision. Well it would be OK if I could run with a gun. Otherwise, not so much.
The bags in the picture are from TYR, I paid around $60 for those.
The free ones were MUCH LESS impressive.
