Heck no - it was a beautiful day and I put in 3:30... an hour longer than my training schedule said to, but I promise that the extra hour was all zone 1

The person below me has a good biker tan started

Yup. Considering I am very fair skinned it is pretty tan. I wear sunscreen but I am still tanning.

True--nice to have, but can be done without (most college dorms here don't have A/C).

There are places without AC? How uncivilized. J/K My 90 year old Mammaw lives here in Texas without A/C. The family bought her a window unit years ago, she hated it.

The person below me wishes they were as tough as their grandparents are/were.

That would be me for certain. But yesterday, thanks to the new stamina I got from bicycling, i bushwhacked for 6 hours in the sunshine. Not sure I could have done that 4 years ago!
PS, we don't have A/C and don't need it either!

The person below me never has enough wool.

True! Sadly, I don't have enough days to wear the wool either (I like cooler weather).

The person below me isn't riding today because it's too blasted hot.

Wrong, I have acclimated to the sauna I live in. But I worked late and need some rest. It is miserably hot here but I may still ride.

Oh how I wish! It got too hot here too fast. So, we've delayed our trip to the fall. Got a good backpacking trip in the S. Cascades in the planning stages, though.

TPBM: Has enjoyed reading this thread without posting (much) for the last 3 months!

True! I have not posted at all, except in the last day or two, but that is because I had no idea the thread existed!

TPBM has one of those banana keepers and is not afraid to use it
