Bruno, we're outta here on the 3rd of August. I don't know if we'll be settled in enough in the new place to come over. I'll have to see where we are when it's closer to that date. I'd hate to miss an opportunity to see you again. Is the soon to be Mr. Bruno accompanying you? I'm curious to find out what kind of man can keep up with you.

My mother does that, too. Any more, I tell her that if she expects a phone call *on* her birthday, she has to tell me the day before. Otherwise, I'll get close but make no promises with regards to accuracy. (This makes for less arguing.)

Hahaha! My mother is pretty good about telling me to mark my calendar for my dad's and her birthdays a month or so in advance, but sometimes I still forget. (Hey, I have trouble keeping track of my own some years.) So one year I swear she tried to get more than one present out of me.

Her mom seems to celebrate her birthday on the lunar AND western calendars. I swear one year she had three birthdays.
