For stevia, I've found that it varies widely depending on what brand you buy. This is the one I use (and the only one I've found that I like): http://www.sweetleaf.com/category.ph...ge=steviaclear

I still get a little "something" in the flavor, but it generally complements what I'm drinking. Most stevia just tastes bitter to me (even in very low doses).

I've not been able to acquire a taste for stevia...and I'm thinking of diluting the fruit juices...more flavor than I need right now.

    Mr. S -

I wouldn't give up on it. I HATED it until a friend offered a new one for me to try. Night and day. So - maybe one day you'll find one you like.

In the meantime, fruit juice + carbonated water is tasty

Yep- just mix 1/2 fruit juice and 1/2 plain seltzer water in a big glass with some ice....refreshing! To make it less calories still, use 1/3 juice and 2/3 seltzer. I think you'll find it less addictive than cola so you probably won't feel the need to drink 8 glasses a day to replace the 8 colas you were used to.
Keep up the good work- I am totally impressed!

Hi, my name Karri and I'm also a diet coke adict It has been over a week since I've had my last sip

I've replaced the above mentioned beverage with iced tea and water. I'll be weaning myself from the tea soon by replacing it with "spa water" that I'll make myself. I think I'll start with some cold filtered coors light, oops, I mean filtered water and try different combos of sliced oranges, grapefruit, lemon, limes and cucumbers. Maybe one day I'll do berry water for a change of pace.

One of my favorites in the summer is mineral water <san pellegrino or gerolsteiner for tiny bubbles... i might be picky; I have a couple of bottle cases delivered to my apartment...>, sometimes with some lemon squeezed in there.

I went to a friend's house for dinner and she served a big pitcher of ice cold water with a bunch of cucumber slices in it- it was so refreshing and delightful on a hot summer's day!

Cucumber water is the yum. Last summer I would drop a few cucumber slices and some ice cubes into my Nalgene bottle whenever I left the house, and have yummy. cold, lightly-flavored cucumber water while out running errands. Soooo good.

This summer I'm addicted to mineral water. I haven't tried putting cucumber slices in it, but that may have to be on tap for the weekend.

Cucumber is also great in a Hendrick's (gin) and tonic. Mmm...

I love Gerolsteiner. Trader Joes used to have cases for a $1 a bottle. But I don't know if they still do since I don't live near a TJ anymore.
