We were on the C&O Canal, starting at Brunswick and heading north for 15 miles (and back.)

And heck, I'll give out the names: l to r, Dingster1, F8th637, 7rider, Kalidurga, and me. And the one wielding the camera was, of course, zen. We're going to have to take her camera away from her next time.

Ok ok... yes nice pic (very purty place to stop)... yes, great to have your names too - but what about the bikes? How do you think they feel? Lying there on the grass, un-named and name-less...
    Who are they/ introductions please...

Well, three of them are obviously team riders, since they all lay down the same way, perfectly parallell, while the two others are more of the loner types.

I'll do the best I can here...

The one laying on it's dérailleur side is 7's Buzz
Next to that is Kalidurga's Specialized cross bike
bottom row is F8th's Kona something,
then Son of Dingster's Schwinn something
    Then DB's lovely Rivendell something

It looks like this is when 7 got up and started the fight with Kalidurga

And yes, it shore is purdy up there (sorry these are huge)

Um.....I'd just like to note for the record that DivingBiker's lovely Rivendell Glorious is also lying on its derailleur!!!

And I was not fighting with Kalidurga. I was taking a breather from my Round 3 fight with my piece o' junk panniers on my equally piece o' junk post-mounted rack. The fight went 5 rounds. It was a draw.
eta: can you tell, I'm still a little bitter???

I'm actually thinking of bringing out the sewing kit and shortening those straps, instead....

Well, in their defense, I didn't plan to take them until about 5 minutes before DB picked me up, so I didn't exactly spend any time fitting them to the rack. But....I think yeah, the drops on the rack are too short for the length of strap for that bottom hook. With some effort on my part...they'll be better.

Here's a slideshow of some more pics. Proof that we did do more than lounge around in the shade!
