Well, the prenatal vitamins provide a more consentrated, more pure, amount of dv (daily vitamines) than the regular vitamines that you buy; those only have about half the amount of potencey than the prenatals do as the prenatals have 100% to a 200% purity level of vitamines. The nice thing about the prenatals is that because it has everything in it, it's more conveniant to take one pill as opposed to a whole butt load of pills every day.

Oh and, *giggle giggle* I've been on prenatal vitamines for about 3 years (maybe a little longer) and I haven't yet found a baby anywhere! ^^ *lol* But if you wound up with one, I'd be more than happy to find a baby in a basket on my doorstep! ~giggles and grins~ *he he*

Be careful what you wish for, Chick on a Bike. If I were a baby spirit cruising through the universe, an ornery size 13 combat-boot wearing momma would look real good...

I really appreciate your attention and support, especially when you have dealt with such major physical issues. Nice to know you, Chick.

By the way, I'm feeling more myself. It rained all day, so I went to the gym and did a little of everything. It felt great and I didn't lose that much strength or breath. Some, but not so much.

Has anyone here who has dealt with allergies or sinusitus used one of those "neti pots," the yogic thing where you wash out your sinuses with water? I wondered if that might help, and if I could do it without drowning myself.

The bike, the bike, she's a-calling and trembling with anticipation....

((((((((((*!!!!!ROTFLMHO!!!!!*)))))))))) Right on!!!!! ~giggly boistrous laughter~ I love you!! You're awesome!!!!! *LOL* ^^ And it's very nice to know you too babe! ^^ I'm very glad I decided to become part of this forum; I've always known it was here (spend too much time drooling over clothes to actually check it out! *lol*), just never thought about joining really.....Up until lately since becoming really bored do to the lack of friends in my area....and due to the lack of having someone to ride with. That's really lonely, and probably not that safe I guess (although I just bought a couple of trippy knives today-one in which I can take with me when I ride; don't have a phone:P). Even though I have no one to ride with, all you guys's stories and stuff make it really insperational to ride even though I'm on my own. Hearing of people going 30, 40 or more miles a day on their bikes is very up lifting, ~whispers~ even though most are probably on road bikes and I'm on a mountain! *giggles* I figure, if they can do it on a road bike, then at some point I can do it on a mountain bike! ^^ ~grins~

I honestly didn't know that people ever "washed out" their sinuses.... To me, just hearing that makes my sinuses burn like fire; ouch!! >.< ~cringes~ Really, I would think that it wouldn't be a good idea because of possibly pushing infections or bad junk further up into the sinus cavitities instead of actually washing them out. I realize it's for the purpose to "clean things out", but it sounds dangerous to me; I'd rather just let my body take care of things in that area on its own! *lol* .....maybe someone will have a edjucational response to shed some light on the topic.

    Hugs and kisses to all!

Hi, late! I have a friend that has been using a neti pot and says her colds and sinus problems are greatly diminished! It's something I've been thinking of trying, too....just be sure to the follow the directions carefully, and, of course, use a saline solution or a herbal blend as directed...never straight water as *ouch* that would *burn*!

Good luck! and let us know if you try it, how it goes!

    Namaste,
    ~T~

Some details you don't want to know but here is a previous discussion on a neti pot and other nasal issues. I learned that you need to lean forward not back, and doing it in the shower makes clean-up much easier.
