Am I a real cyclist now??

This a picture of our new club/team (I think I'm the ONLY club member--the rest are all racers, but I'm going to change that). That's me with the shockingly blue helmet standing next to the shockingly fast racer girls.

Great pic! I LOVE your uniforms- very sleek. You'll look fast racing (or even just riding in that)!

I rather like your shockingly blue helmet- quite nice.

I keep telling you I don't race. lol.

I'm going to recruit more CLUB members, and that's how I'll stop being the only club member.

I didn't think I'd like the get-up when I first saw them. They had a different design for club members with green and yellow on the sleeves, but they didn't have enough members to order two designs, so I got a race jersey. I didn't get shorts or bibs, and I'm glad, because they have the letters LG very prominent on the butt, and I just don't need the word LARGE associated with my butt!

There is a baby girl in that picture, too, but you can't see her because her daddy hid her behind the guy in front. I wish he had left her in.

When the article comes out, I'll post a link.

Oh! The team is based out of Rogers, Arkansas. Lewis & Clark is a local chain with locations in Springdale and Little Rock. I think they have other irons in the fire, too, but I don't know where.

Lewis & Clark went across Missouri on their way to the PNW, and Missouri is about 15 miles from house.

But still everyone knows Lewis & Clark stands for "expedition" in the US. That makes it a good name for marketing.

Sundial, are you sure you're looking at the right woman? The one with the blue helmet?

Thanks, anyway! (Oh, and I do want to say that I surprised myself by losing another pound this week--haven't been concentrating on the food, but I have been riding at least every other day. Boot camp starts up again on Monday!)

I think "chicked" means to be passed by a chick. Guys hate that, so I hear.

I think it's funny that most of the guys seem to be standing with their hands crossed up front, like they're embarrassed
