I LOVE my red sidis. I'll mourn them when they're gone
Those are pretty cool - we can justify anything 'round here - so long as it's bike related...

Most days in life don't stand out, But life's about those days that will...
Totally not my color... and I just spent a little fortune in the new Scott road limited shoes, so I may have to be good and not buy new shoes for a few months...![]()

Adidas has red shoes, I have several Adidas shoes and love them. Depending on what you want to do with them (road or tri) they have three models in red:
1. adistar pro road (but you have to look for 2006 or 2007 models, because the 2008 is either black/white or silver http://www.glorycycles.com/adadroprocys.html)

2. adistar ultra

3. adistar tri carbon

I think Sidi genius 5 also has a red model, not sure though.

Never mind want or need -- these will convert me from mountain shoes to road shoes, they match my blue bike, the question is where to obtain them!!!
I could almost as easily slip into a pair of these:

I'm not sure how to compare to Sidi because I've never been able to find a Sidi shoe that I could comfortably. This chart may help, I got it a while ago from a friend, it's on a German website, and that has measurements for several brands of cycling shoes: http://www2.bsn.de/Cycling/shoe-sizing.html
I usually wear Adidas that run on the small side, and so these looked like a more consistent sizing to me - but I did notice that they are a little narrower than Adidas.
If you wear 39.5 I would suggest to ask your bike shop to order 39 and 40 and try both. I guess you would fit more comfortably in a 40. It also depends on whether you wear any insoles/wedges in your cycling shoes...
And yes they are cute! I love the gold color with the red accents, and it goes well with one of my bikes that is yellow and gold...![]()
