Arkansans rejoice! World Champion Jeff Hartwig is headed for Beijing. He trains at the Bell center in Jonesboro, not far from my neck of the woods. He loves pets and has a menagerie of reptilians.
Oh and he has great style.

While we're on the subject of "older athletes", that's what got me started watching hockey, finding out that the Detroit Red Wings has a player my age. Actually I'll be 47 before him, but I thought it was incredible to be able to keep that up at that age, when I can't hold my arm above my head without pain!
I'm working on that.
