. DH came home early from work and decided he wanted to get some errands done in the city, so I suggested taking the bikes and riding the Erie canal when I'm done with the appt. We rode for 20 miles, nice and easy and enjoyed the houses and scenery along the way along with the hot heat, the smell of hot asphalt, and little breeze when we had to cross roads in a couple of spots. Made us really appreciate the country life. Then we had lunch at a little cafe/deli- it was so good. Definately a place I would go back to again. I thought of Songlady, who lives in Rochester, thinking maybe I should've contacted her somehow to see if she would like to have met. Someone lives that close and have yet to meet her..another time..
