Well, you can make them, just use Trader Joes mini peanut butter cups instead of the chips.
Or if we ever actually end up in the same place, I'll bring some.
Double Chocolate Chip Cookies
Cuisine Magazine – Issue #22
Makes 3 dozen cookies
Bake Time: 12 - 14 minutes
Whisk together; set aside
3 ¼ cups all purpose flour
1 t. baking soda
1 t. kosher salt
Cream “Wet” Ingredients with an electric mixer
1 cup sugar
1 cup dark brown sugar
2/3 cup unsalted butter, softened
2/3 cup vegetable shortening
2 eggs
2 t. vanilla
Stir Flour Mixture into the creamed mixture with a spoon. Then stir in:
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
½ cup milk chocolate chips
Form cookies and bake.
I use Guittard chips only, no Nestle.
