I have a long torso as well and have found www.velowear.com bibs super comfy. They have a good bit of stretch for the height and the chamois is nice. The price is right as well. Good luck.

I am considering trying bib shorts to help keep that pesky chamois in place on these hot days. I am 5'9". I have a long torso, and one-piece bathing suits tend to be too short so I have to order a size up (not a good idea with bike shorts though). Any recommendations for bibs to try?
Thank you.

I ride men's shorts. they're long enough. Giordana come to mind. I used to swear by Nalinis because of their stretch gel pad but that's coated with terry cloth and these days, I get chafed from it (didn't use to but I ride longer now).
