Aaaargh! I took the tape off and I did a pretty good job masking the lugs. Unfortunately the top of the rear triangle somehow resurrected the wet paint off the drop cloth and got pink all over. So I sanded it down and went back to Home Depot, which used to be my favorite place, for more black paint.
Anyway, I started the clear coat, instructions said I could, and now the paint is goobering up in some weird places. Hopefully it will dry nice and tidy, but I'm over it. It still looks better than it did, and I wanna ride on Sunday. 17.7 miles to Lyons, one good beer and a burger, then I ride home. Figure if I bait myself with beer I can manage!"True, but if you throw your panties into the middle of the peloton, someone's likely to get hurt."
