I'm curious and scared of this at the same time. Is it really comfortable, or not so much?

Try sleeping in a soft thin merino Smartwool or Ibex shirt. That'll give you an idea of how the underwear would feel.
Even in June now, it's in the low 70's at night with a breeze and I love sleeping in light cotton knickers and an Ibex thin merino base layer top- either long sleeve or tank top depending on the temp.
Another thing- our kitties come cuddle with us in the morning when we're having our coffee in bed, and they clearly prefer to snuggle up on my merino shirt as opposed to DH's cotton t-shirt. Kitties know quality.![]()

Hi, based on this thread (because I am still a newbie) I picked up on CL (btw, I need a 12 step program for CL addiction - it is your fault though! - I learned about it here on the forum) Ibex Lightweight Spin Jersey for even $50.
Here is a pic (this IS the color I love):

My question to you all wool-pros is: What temps is this jersey most comfortable for? I know that it can go to quite extreme, but what is the ideal weather in which you would pick this jersey for a ride?
Thanks!
DH has ridden the Men's version of that jersey from 65 on up to 95 and 95% humidity. He LOVES it. Best part - it doesn't get clammy when you either 1) go into AC or 2) get rained on

CL has long sleeve swobo jersey which I would really like. Based on the swobo website, I am between sizes L (38in chest) and XL (40in chest). They give no info on waist size, only the length or sleeve and length of front. I am usually 39in in chest (36D) and otherwise I am reasonably normal size (not fat). Any suggestion which size to get? I hate when the XL sizing is sometimes wide in armpits...
THANKS!

I just got a beeeeyootiful dark red SWOBO LS jersey on Chainlove...I got XL...and it fits well...I have a 44" chest...the sleeves are long.
The back pockets have a lot of elastic on top that pull it --slightly--onto a fitted waist....which I think is smashing.....assuming martin is a girl.....
Like the Ibex you got.
Discipline is remembering what you want.
Hehe - look at the pic in my profile ! Definitely girl. I am Czech and Martinka is an endearment of Martina in my language. Something similar as Martinita would be in Spanish. 'P' is initial of my last name
Thanks - I think I will go with L then if I am 5 in less than you...
