Hello everyone. I haven't felt well at all and today is the first day I've been online since I posted here.

My surgeon said if I had waited any longer I would have had to have been opened up. The surgery lasted double the time it should have. (The internal injuries from the car wreck in 96 did quite a bit of damage and caused adhesions) I thought I'd be able to be on the bike this weekend. HA! Apparently my recovery time is four to six weeks. I'm not sure when I'll be on the bike but hopefully before four weeks. Right now I tire out quickly and get really sleepy. And here I thought this was minor surgery! HA!

Thank goodness all of this is happening during the Tour de France. I can watch it three times a day while I recuperate. What a way to heal!
