    Etxe Ondo

Alright, I know this topic has been covered before, but I searched and searched and didn't find a thread that exactly answered my question.

I've seen a few EO jerseys on closeout here and there that I'm tempted to buy. I have never seen EO in person and am trying to figure out what to do in terms of sizing. Seems some folks think you need to size up, while some folks think it runs true...

Can those of you with EO experience help me? I'm looking at short sleeve jerseys. I'm 5'6", 33" chest, 26" waist, wear a 34A bra (so very small bust), usually a size 4. In terms of the size chart, I'm well within small territory on the bust measurement but borderline small-medium on waist measurement and probably a medium on hip measurement.

I normally wear a small -- in Gore, Shebeest, PI, etc. I also wear a size small in pre-2008 Castelli jerseys -- many people say to size up in Castelli (before they changed the sizing this year), but if I sized up, they'd be too big on me. I suspect this is partly because I have a small chest, and partly because I like a snug fit.

So, given all of this, do I go small or medium with EO?

    Thanks!

EO tends to run pretty small, imo, at least for shorts & knickers. I personally would order a size up (but I don't like things snug).

You sound like a small to me, esp. if you like your jerseys fitted, like I do.
I wear a small in EO tops across the board (they seem pretty consistent) and most of them are made with many panels and have plenty of stretch, which makes them very forgiving.

I have 3 EO jerseys. I usually wear Size 4 in most stuff (4Petite, preferably). 34B. I bought Mediums in all 3, mostly because the styles run long and I didn't want the jerseys bunching up around the waist/hip courtesy of the elastic hemlines. If you like the snugness of elastic hems, you'll probably be fine with Smalls. If you prefer things to be a little looser, especially at the bottom, then I'd recommend Medium. Hope that helps!

When in doubt, order a small and medium, and return what you don't like.

From your measurements and preference for a snug fit, I would guess a small would be OK for you. I am size 4 on the bottom and 6-8 on the top, and larger busted (34D) than you, so I did find their M jersey a good fit on me. I am always a small on the bottom, and between a small and medium on the top, depends on the item. In PI I am always a medium, in terry I am always a small, in shebeest I have a mix of both, long sleeves fit best in small but some short sleeves fit better in M, in ibex I am a small. With some brands I prefer M for the longer length.

Agree that the tops run small. I'm petite but I buy my EO jerseys & jackets in medium. Ironically, the bottoms seem to run a bit large.

I'm exactly the same size as you, except one inch shorter and 32B. Wear size small in Shebeest and PI. For EO, I need size M in jersey, vest and jacket. They do run small IMO, but the fit is great. They're one of my favorite brands
