Well, at least the visit is just temporarily being together.
Is there something you and your sister can do together that makes both of you happy together? Sounds like she's not happy with parts of her life, maybe?

Yea she is not happy woth parts of her life that is for sure. and with this past year with her youngest being as sick as she was it has been hard. I just sit and listen t her ***** and nod my head a lot. we are doing fun stuff. She enjoyed the beach a lot. But had to ***** about how she was an awful mom because she put sun block everywhere on the youngest but forgot to put it on her legs and hands.
I was like "Oh well it happen's, you can't be perfect all the time". Sigh I am being supportive as much as I can.

Counseling? With Lorelei being so ill, has DS let her health suffer? Is she able to do anything in the *me quality time*? Does she get regular check-ups?

My sister seems to be constantly at the end of her rope. The baby is so demanding of her. And I have to say I am exhausted being around them myself. I love them don't get me wrong. But I worry about my sister and the way she is right now. She is signing the baby up for pre school at the end of summer though and that should hopefully help. The baby and her have been through so much but they need some seperation from eachother. And the baby needs to see it is ok when other peole want to do things for her. She doesn't like it when some other then mom helps her. Sigh....I love them though and it was nice to have them with me this weekend.

+1 on suggesting therapy for her. It would almost be surprising if Lorelei's problems hadn't triggered a depression in your sister! - especially if she was predisposed. She obviously needs an outlet for her stress and fears.
