Hey, good report--thanks and congrats, too.

Congrats V!!! That one was the "scene" of my first as well! Is there still a lot of goose poop near the lake??
I remember dropping my chain at the top of the hill on the way out of the park.

Wow! What a photo-documentary! That's great. Seems like you're moving along with the swimming and running part, and you had fun on this one. Very nice, and good for your accomplishments. I liked the photo of your number with the smiley face.

That was goose poop? There was definitely poop of some kind along the shoreline where we started the swim.

Great race. Who was your photographer?

I haven't heard of a triathlon where you get to decide what waves to go with. Was there chip timing?
I'd rather be swimming...biking...running...and eating cheesecake...

My husband Thom took the pictures.

It was a Tri for Fun, so pretty laid back, I think. There were no officially recorded times at all, no chips.

    Thumbs up

Way to go Veronica! It really is about having fun and pushing yourself to some place you've never been before. It is such a sense of accomplishment and lays to rest that little gremlin "fear" that sits on your shoulder telling you that you can't, when you CAN!
    Bravo!
