Dear Laundry Gods -
At least it was the spin cycle that had to go out. I'm still not happy about needing to replace the 14 yr old washer, and the squeeking 6 yr old dryer. I hope there wasn't some really tiny fine print in the ad I saw today about free delivery and removal of the dead machines. But still, I wanted to spend my birthday doing something else other than shopping for a new washer and dryer.

Dear Project Manager,

When exactly were you going to inform the entire team that the potential project benefits have changed from 21,000 acres to a measly 5,000 acres. We all know costs have gone up, but where did you get these numbers? When a project paper is almost finished is NOT the time to slip in this drastic change.
