I miss Slipstream too. I hope they don't make a radical kit change. I'm lovin' the argyle.

And the other important thing: Will Chipotle still be doing their Special TdF Burrito?

Susan of TE just confirmed that my Slipstream kit will be on it's way by next week. It's been on back order since March. I'm doing the happy dance!

It shipped yesterday! All the team apparel and team "themed" apparel (ie. argyle but not full of logos) arrived yesterday. FINALLY! It's all up on the what's new page (except for the non-team argyle short, which we are apparently still waiting for.).

Chipotle is still doing the burrito thing during the Tour. I got an email from Chipotle (I am a Chipotle nerd) and I have seen ads in Bicycling mag for this month. I need to get a team kit!

Maybe that's why in the NYT article referenced by Lovelylibrarian when the cyclist is talking about improving his performance and measuring his power output, the photo of his handlebars from above shows a Garmin, not a power meter! Tokie

The newest PowerTap is going to be compatible with the Garmin 705. From the article Slipstream, er Team Garmin, had been helping Saris (PowerTap maker) and Garmin get their units talking.

I had noticed all the Slipstream riders with their little yellow PowerTap computers and had figured, since Garmin had been a sponsor albeit at a lower level, they would switch to the 705 unit instead once the kinks were worked out.

    I'm so jealous.
