You say that, but trust me, you really don't want that! In the summer the only thing I can do with it is pull it up because it would just frizz and fro out if I left it down.

I hear you. My hair dries in 10 minutes flat. But it's curly, so it does the frizz up to a ball thing all by itself in damp weather, thick or not!
