Between the 2 of us we only have 3 bikes and 2 of them aremine. If I could justify having more to him I totally would have more. I even asked him if he wanted a road/tour bike for our upcoming tour in September and he said he'd stick with his hybrid. What's wrong with him?!?!
Maybe the real question is: how many of us really and truly own ONE bike?![]()

I need to show this set of posts to the DH who is always on my case for having "too many bikes." I mean, c'mon...I only have three!
Specialized S-Works Tarmac (racing bike)
Felt F70 (old racing bike - I can't seem to part with her even though she's 2 sizes too big!)
Fuji Tahoe MTB (haven't ridden on the trails in a few years and the fork is broken, but he's still around)
I also have a TT bike in my house at the moment...but, it's not mine...it's a loaner!
hmmm...I guess I can easily get a few more without feeling bad, eh?!

Currently we have 8 bikes in our bike "shed." I think the builder of this house meant this to be used as a garden shed, but the first thing we said when we looked at this house was"Oh look, a little house for our bikes!"
I have:
1. Kuota Kredo road bike that I bought in 2005 I am discouraged with this bike, it's really too big for me, but I am attached to it.
2. A Jamis Coda hybrid wsd I use for errands around town and riding on those warmer winter days. I have a pannier, lights, etc on this bike.
3. A Norco FS mtb that is not used enough. It's a mid priced bike for this brand, but I probably shouldn't have bought it.
My husband has:
1. A Kuota road bike It's a different model than mine, can't remember the name
2. A Jamis Coda Sport bike.
3. The same MTB as me
4. A Bike Friday Pocket Rocket Pro that only gets used when he goes to Europe.
We also have my son's Serrotta all steel racing bike hanging in the shed. He rides it when he comes home on leave. He has his K2 out in San Diego.
I just gave my older son our beloved yellow Voodoo Hoodoo. It was my husband's first bike, as he started mountain biking before he bought the road bike. Then he fixed it up for me and that's the bike I rode for about 2 years when I started. Last year he redid all of the components and I used it for errands. My son lives near the city and hopes to commute to work this summer and ride on the path by the Charles River. I have been trying to convert him for years!
Someday, I might get a Bike Friday, too.
