OMG!!!! IT'S THE EIGHTIES ALL OVER AGAIN!!!!

    I'm having "Flashdance" flashbacks!

(just kidding, but that is my first reaction!)

I'm afraid I'm going to stick to the rule that you only wear fashions the first time they rotate through your lifespan. So I'll have to pass on these, but they are cute in a uber-retro teen kind of way.

(pedal pushers/capris, now those are making their first round for me, so I'm all over them. They are on their 2nd round for my mom, and she's not wearing them this time.)

Great review, and I'm looking forward to your next one!

I have these, too. I like the feel of the fabric, but the cut just doesn't work for me. The lack of either a structured or elasticized waist makes them a bad fit for a body that lacks hips. The suckers just slide right down. If all I'm doing is hanging out, that would be fine...but just try to walk or run in something that slides off your hips.

I shouldn't have been surprised. I keep trying to buy SkirtSports products, and I'm almost always disappointed in either the fit or the cut. The production quality seems wildly inconsistent--crooked stitching, uneven leg lengths, seams that don't want to lay flat. I think in something like six pieces purchased, I've been happy with a grand total of one.

It's a good thing I have SheBeest, Nike, and Adidas to keep my cycling and workout skort lust satisfied. (Seriously, I think I have four SheBeest cycloskorts, two Nike skorts, and five Adidas skorts. I *love* them. Actually, I wear them pretty much anytime I can get away with it--i.e. as long as it's not insanely cold outside, or I'm not at a client site.)

Nice site! Though it is the 80's all over again

Lookign at their "active"-line, I really like that uptown girl skirt. But I wish they had a dress without spaghetti straps. I have humongous rock climber shoulders and prefer racerback. Oh wait! I found the Footloose running dress! Cool!

    Oooh, I like this outfit!

I don't think those undies would look as cute on me as on the model, though...

I must say I am also disappointed in the lack of a real waist band. The skirt does slide down a little bit on me also, luckily the hips are there to keep them from falling completely off.
After wearing this skirt on a longer ride I discovered that the rise is more of an issue than I originally determined. I already have the tags off so I am going to keep them. I have a pair of black undies that rise higher than the skirt so I will be wearing those under to help deter any unwanted skin showing.

I have decided to return the Cruiser Bike Girl skirt because the rise actually seems lower than the capri skirt. : ( Also the construction on the Cruiser's is very sloppy.

P.S. I guess I kinda like the 80's look but I promise not to wear them w/ a neon off the shoulder crop-top.
