OK, you got me. I mean muscular. Tone IS a girly word. I think there is still a lot of fat there some I'm hoping the muscles will take over and I'll rule the world! I was trying on those hiking pants with the zip off legs that make shorts and my regular size didn't fit. I'll have to find brands that fit my new legs, I guess.

I think what I am trying to say is your body is your body and even if you lose weight you will probably still have muscular legs. I have always had muscular legs no matter what my weight is. Be proud of your "monster legs" and just remember what they allow you to do!!!!

    Lovely Librarian,

    First, read these threads:
    http://forums.teamestrogen.com/showt...thunder+thighs

I always get a kick out of TE'ers talking about their 'monster' thighs....then when they post pictures their thighs actually just look normal and healthy and shapely- not monstrous at all. Muscles are good, and our personal perception of our own bodies is often exaggerated.
Be happy that you are getting more muscles on your legs. I love mine and wish I had more!

Thanks so much BleeckerSt. I did a search on the forums before I posted but didn't use the right keywords.

Thunder thighs... I think I remember sausage legs maybe, now monster legs.
I was just thinking to myself today "I have thighs like Christmas hams"
    But I like 'em.

Next time I do a search, I'll remember to use "Christmas hams" as the keywords.

LOL Zen...I always say that my legs are a veritable holiday dinner...calves are like turkey drumsticks, thighs are like hams. But I am also 30# overweight at the moment...

My boyfriend says I have thunder thighs...then my brother mentioned it as well...Great!

They get me down...especially when I see those skinny girls in their jeans and they look so good...

And yeah...sure they get me through runs and up hills and all that stuff...but they feel like they want to give up. And then I see a skinny person doing the same stuff! So what are these huge legs for then?
