    Sing It With Me, Everyone!

My youngest daughter saw an earlier post of mine in which I said that I use the "100 Bottles of Beer on the Wall" song to help me get through difficult portions of rides. She decided I needed something that was actually cycling related, and this new version she created came in quite handy on today's 84-miler in which the finicky wind changed directions, providing us with a tailwind for only 10 miles.

100 shiny new bikes on the rack,
    100 shiny new bikes.
    Take one down,
    Ride it around,
99 shiny new bikes on the rack...

Kids -- ya gotta love 'em!!!

Whew! 84 miles in the wind. I bet you went through a lot of "shiny new bkes on the rack". I hadn't seen your earlier post. May have to try your trick on my next ride.

Way cool! I see a theme starting...

To the tune for Jingle Bells:

Ride your bike, ride your bike,
    Up and down the street.
Oh, what fun it is to ride
When your saddle loves your seat!

    My apologies-- it's late.

    2nd verse:

    Dashing through the snow
On a new bike from Orbea
    Over fields we goooooooo
Laughing at drivers all the way haa haa haa

I'm kinda stuck on this part
    Don't know what to write
I may bike to work tomorrow
So I'll wish you all good night, sooooooo

Ride your bike, ride your bike,
    Up and down the street.
Oh, what fun it is to ride!
But it's much more fun to eat
